Beef Bones Soup Draws All The Flavour Out Of The Bones

Bones have been the saving grace of many families in hard times. They were a cheap, tasty, and healthy alternative in touch times. If you wanted to add some flavour and nutrients to your broth on a budget, bones were the go-to. Because of this, they have become a mains staple in our diet. nothing taste better than a nice broth made from the beef bones.

Beef Bone Soup Recipe

These beef bones aren’t simply bones, but have a delicious amount of beef attached to give you the protein your body needs. Add some vegetables and you have yourself a complete and healthy meal that the family will love. The longer you cook it, the better it taste!

 

Try this recipe to discover the flavour hiding within beef bones:

 

Ingredients for beef bones soup:beef bones soup

  • 1kg Beef Bones
  • 2 Carrots (cubed)
  • 1 Onion (chopped)
  • 2 Potatoes (peeled and cubed)
  • 2 Celery Stalks (chopped)
  • 1 Green Pepper (chopped)
  • 1 Clove of Garlic (mashed)
  • 3 Small Tomatoes (skinned, cut up, and seeded)
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 1Litre of beef stock

 

Directions for beef bones soup

 

1 – Heat oven to 350.
Wash and put bones on a cooking sheet.
Put in oven.
Bake about 1 hour.
Keep an eye on them, you don’t want to burn them.
Just brown them, and any meat on the bones will be cooked.

 

2 – Take bones out of oven.
Add bones to a crock pot with a 1-1/2 quarts of water.
Cook for 2-3 hours on medium.
This will get all the flavour out of the bones!

 

3 – Strain cooked broth.
Cut any meat off the bones.
Put broth and meat in the crockpot.

 

4 – Prepare your choice of fresh vegetables.
PLEASE, no canned veggies!

 

5 – Remove tomato skins.
Dipping them in boiling water will do the trick,
remove and cool.

 

6 – Chop up the tomatoes, and get ride of seeds along with the skins.
Add to pot .

 

7 – Soup ready to serve.
Enjoy!
